Baguiati Rail Pukur United Club Durga Puja 2026 marks the 73rd year of the club's Durga Puja celebration in Baguiati, North Kolkata. This year, the puja presents Collage, an artistic and socially meaningful Durga Puja pandal created using thousands of kilos of recycled newspapers. Conceptualised by artist Somnath Tamli, the 2026 pandal transforms ordinary newspapers into an immersive installation that explores art, mythology, history, society, memory and the changing way people consume information. The theme Collage draws inspiration from the traditional mythology of Maa Durga, where the divine energies, powers and weapons contributed by different deities come together to create the complete form of Goddess Durga.
