Durga Puja Guide is a free visitor guide to Kolkata's Durga Puja — pandal listings with live crowd status, timings, directions, live streams, ritual schedule and trip planning, all in English and Bengali. No account is needed to use any of it.

Yes — everything is free for visitors. The site is supported by voluntary donations (see the Donate button) and by advertising (see the advertise page). There is no paywall and no account.

The site lists 700+ pandals across Kolkata, Howrah and the suburbs, each with its own page. Details are compiled from public sources and updated regularly — timings, themes and crowd levels can change on the ground, so always check the pandal page before you travel.

Crowd status is an estimate based on visitor reports and live signals — it is not an official measurement. It is meant as a planning aid; the terms page explains data accuracy in more detail.

Browse the pandal directory and filter by area, use the plan page to build a route, or follow the readymade pandal-hopping belts for North, Central and South Kolkata.

The Puja dates page shows the full calendar, and each day (Shashti, Ashtami and so on) has its own ritual page. Many themes change at night — confirm against the pandal page before you visit.

The emergency contacts page lists police, fire, ambulance and women's helplines compiled from public records. The full list is always visible, with or without location.

Only if you allow it in your browser. Location is used to sort emergency contacts nearest-first and to show local weather (fetched directly from Open-Meteo). Your coordinates are not saved by us — the privacy policy has the full picture.

The advertise page lists every placement — display ads, featured pandal cards, affiliate promos and sponsored slots. Email [email protected] with your brand and goal; peak Puja weeks fill up fast.

Joint campaigns and sponsorships beyond advertising are handled by [email protected].

Donations are voluntary UPI contributions made through the Donate button — there is no subscription and no obligation. They help keep the pandal data live and free for everyone; they are not refundable.

Very little: no accounts, no names or emails collected from visitors. The online counter shows one aggregate number, geolocation is optional and unsaved, and advertising cookies (AdSense) are managed by you in your browser. See the privacy policy for details.
